01 / PERSPECTIVE

A builder’s mindset.
A systems perspective.

My career has taken me from developing a physical product to leading an app-platform business, executing enterprise infrastructure programs, and studying human–technology interaction. Each step has expanded the scale of the problems I can take on.

The connection is practical: understand the engineering, make the objective clear, bring the right people together, and stay accountable through execution.

01

Build

Turn an engineering idea into a working prototype or service.

02

Execute

Connect technology, vendors, people, and budgets to deliver complex work.

03

Evaluate

Use human factors and usability to ask whether the solution works for people.

02 / SELECTED EXPERIENCE

Built from the ground up.
Executed at scale.

A career spanning physical products, digital platforms, and regulated enterprise systems.

ANNUAL IT INFRASTRUCTURE SPEND

US$769M

I personally held direct execution authority for approximately US$769 million in annual IT infrastructure spending.

Individual annual responsibility; includes maintenance and subscription fees.

I worked across data centers, servers, infrastructure, cloud, data, and security in a regulated financial environment. My remit extended from analysis and technology review through procurement, implementation, and ongoing management.

  • End-to-end responsibility

Connected technology evaluation and spending decisions with implementation and operational needs.

  • Multi-year global collaboration

Worked directly and repeatedly with global technology companies on enterprise-scale initiatives.

  • Business-critical systems

Led development and maintenance of credit-related systems and contributed to risk-controlled IT operations.

E+E

Low-noise hair-dryer technology

With my team, I successfully developed proprietary low-noise hair-dryer technology in a university-based R&D environment. An airflow concept informed by Bernoulli’s principle became the starting point for repeated prototype and test cycles.

Core technical development completed
Engineering & execution+

Combined mechanical engineering, airflow design, laboratory collaboration, and iterative prototyping. The experience established an early foundation in taking a physical product from concept through technical development.

Commercialization was constrained by early-stage funding. The engineering achievement was the successful development of the technology.

Bagspace

An Android & iOS platform business

I built and operated an app-platform business, leading product strategy, team operations, fundraising, and international sales. I managed a 12-person team and generated sales across more than 10 countries.

Venture milestones+
  • Raised external investment on multiple occasions.
  • Selected for competitive government startup-support programs.
  • Led product iteration, hiring, and international market execution.
  • Received an M&A approach.

Government support was awarded through competitive selection, rather than procurement contracts.

CURRENT RESEARCH QUESTION

How can navigation highlight a critical event without adding distraction?

I am developing a research direction around dynamic visual emphasis in in-vehicle navigation, including how contrast, route scale, and map perspective affect recognition and attention during events such as sharp curves.

ContextCritical road events
InterfaceSelective visual emphasis
EvaluationRecognition, response & usability

Current focus: refining the research question and experimental approach.

04 / FOUNDATION & RECOGNITION
